'Deepaawalee' is the most auspicious festival of the year, according to Hindu Almanac.
Literally, 'Deepaawalee' means 'A string of oil lamps.'
On this occasion, we light up strings of colourful oil lamps in & around our homes.
These lamp strings symbolize Man's journey from darkness of ignorance, to the light of enlightenment.
